Solent University X Showtime - Musical Theatre Cabaret

As part of 'SO: Stage Door', the new Arts Council England funded 2024 Audience and Artist Development Programme, The Stage Door and Solent University present:

An evening of new Musical Theatre & Cabaret

Presenting a brand-new musical 'Suffragettes in Trousers' written and produced by Solent University 3rd year Performance students… AND... a Cabaret showcase of well-known Musical Theatre songs.

Suffragettes in Trousers: An original musical with original music!

Follows the journey of Albert Jeffries, a struggling journalist who is in need of a good story to sell. When he is assigned to write an article on the suffrage movement, Albert discovers the untold stories of five suffragettes. But who's story does he decide to publish?
