"The Parlours are a four piece band from the south coast, who met at school and haven’t gotten round to splitting up just yet.

 

Taking influence from bands such as Sports Team, The Smiths, and Fontaines D.C., they combine the intricate guitar riffs of modern alt-rock with driving vocal melodies that swing from post-punk grit to classic indie rock ballads.

 

With tracks discussing friendship, getting old, fear of responsibility, and 2008/09 Wayne Rooney, their distinct sound that they can’t quite explain themselves makes them impossible to pin down.”
