The Medicine Show - A Tribute to Dr Hook ** CANCELLED

Regrettably this show has been cancelled

night of pure Dr. Hook Nostalgia with all the hits performed 100% live and to perfection.

Dr. Hook were a terrific and zany live band and it would be an injustice to them to attempt anything less, hence The Medicine Show is performed totally live and definitely can be described as terrific and a little zany. All the big songs performed uncannily like the original plus a humorous insight to the antics of this great 70’s band.

Hugh O’Neill has been described as having a beautiful silky Irish voice with a rocky edge to it. The Medicine Show is spellbinding and is a complimentary exhilarating tribute to Dr. Hook. Along with all the best Dr. Hook hits there will be a few surprises, some classic Pop/Rock hits and few Irish Folk anthems done in the unmistakable Dr. Hook Style. Audience participation is a big part of this show and you find it impossible not to sing along. Hugh is joined on stage by Lee Gillett: percussion, drums and guitar plus guest keyboard player Larry Allen.

The Medicine Show is a brand new act this summer and the Number 1 and only Dr. Hook Tribute in the northern hemisphere! The Medicine Show have performed in Cyprus (BRT2 TV), Spain and Madeira to full houses and wonderful acclaim finishing each night with encore after encore.. Previously Hugh was also the front man for Dr.Hook’d, a fabulous tribute band that played a dynamic show at every top theatre in Ireland between 2005 and 2009. This lead to one of the original Dr. Hook members contacting the band and offering to play with them if they ever come to the states!
