Webber! is the audacious, critically acclaimed bawdy comedy musical about the life of composer and impresario Andrew Lloyd Webber (Jesus Christ Superstar, Cats, Starlight Express) on his quest to become ‘filthy rich and f**king useless’. Guided by the spirit of Margaret Thatcher, will he ever become a Lord? Will he fly across the atlantic, last minute, to vote against raising tax credits for the poor? Written and composed by Grant Sharkey, this show is the ultimate middle finger to norms of musicals and comedy. A fully composed score containing incalculable ear-worms, some bad language and a mild amount of blasphemy – all brought to life by Sharkey as Webber and Laura Clare Reid as Margaret Thatcher.
