25 years on, 200+ songs and we’re still going. We will be playing our biggest songs from our 25 years - but mainly we just want to have a party and hear you all sing the songs back at us!

We will be joined by our old friends, and it’s a reunion of sorts for them, ‘The Alaskan Pipeline’ (8.40), the incredible talent and voice that is ‘Mia Grace’ (8.00) and probably Southamptons finest song crafter ‘Jimmy Herrity’ (7.20) opening the show. There is an after show Karaoke party, with the venue staying open until 1am for us. Tickets are £10 in advance (if you want a discount link, please get in touch), so get them before they go!

Ben Dlugokecki  x

---

Dlugokecki (pronounced Der-loo-go-ken-ski) is a band, trio, singer/songwriter and performer based in Southampton, UK. For 25 years Ben Dlugokecki has written over 100 songs, released 6 albums, and his 7th album ‘Songs for an Idle World’ was released in March 2025. His musical influences include David Gray, Paul Simon, Elbow and Phil Collins. Ben is also an extensive cover song performer, with over 300 songs in his repertoire.

The ‘Dlugokecki’ band have supported million-selling artists David Gray, Snow Patrol, Corinne-Bailey Rae, The Proclaimers, Passenger and Lu Lu on their world tours, playing to thousands of people.

Dlugokecki have also played alongside British Sea Power, Badly Drawn Boy, The Hoosiers, Nerina Pallot, Ben's Brother, Robert Vincent, Longview, Sandi Thom, Paddy Casey, The Bluetones, The Drifters, John Power (CAST/The La's), Nizlopi, Howard Jones, Alexander O’ Neil, Tony Moore and the mighty Chesney Hawkes (the band even lent him their keyboard!).

Dlugokecki songs have been used on the soundtrack of Channel 4 hit show "Ny-Lon” and five tracks were heavily featured in episodes of Channel 4's "Hollyoaks”. They have recorded in Metropolis Studio, London and have had a twelve-day session in Ibiza at Craig Davids Villa.

In 2009 the band played the 'South by Southwest' Festival in Austin, Texas, also playing 2 shows in New York to great acclaim. The same year they played Shepherds Bush Empire alongside Passenger, Starsailor and Squeeze to celebrate the life of singer/songwriter Matthew Jay. In 2010, they released a 34-track double album spanning the 10 years of 'Dlugokecki’ – celebrating the event with a tour and sell-out show in their hometown.

Dlugokecki have performed at the top of the Spinnaker Tower, Old Trafford, Stonehenge, Blackpool pleasure beach, The Ferry across the Mersey and at 3,200ft at the top of Mount Snowdon in Wales.

In 2019 the band played 8 summer festivals including the Isle of Wight Festival, Victorious and Swanfest. In May the band headlined the Cavern Club in Liverpool as part of the International Pop Overthrow Festival. The band finished the year with a sell-out hometown show, a new album and their first ‘Sofar’ performance. They released five new singles in 2019 - ‘The Bliss’, ‘Lightyears’, ‘Sure’, ‘You Don’t Even Know Who You Are’ and ‘X10’.

2020 started well with a 12-date UK tour planned, a sell-out show in Winchester under their belt and a new album all mapped out. Then came the Coronavirus! What resulted was the ‘Social Distancing Tour’ - a 12-date tour of Ben’s house that included playing ‘The Kitchen’, ‘The Garage’ & even ‘The Downstairs Toilet’. The tour was featured on Yahoo News and in local media including Flash FM, BBC Radio Solent & BBC South TV.

After a three year break due to the pandemic, Dlugokecki returned in 2023 with the release of two new singles ‘The Optimist’ and ‘The Dreams of a Kamikaze Pilot’. ‘The Optimist’ spent 2-weeks at Number 1 in the South Coast Chart. For the video for ‘The Dreams of a Kamikaze Pilot’ the band were given a theme park to film in for a morning. In 2024 the band have announced a series of monthly single releases, including ‘Novice’, with the music video being filmed at the Brickworks Museum in Southampton. In March 2025, the band released a video of the band performing on Hambles’ iconic pink ferry.
